MMCC Global is an international nonprofit dedicated to helping children and youth develop social skills, confidence, a sense of belonging, and the opportunity to reach their full potential. Through its Social Circus Bangladesh program, supported by the Up with People Foundation, MMCC brings these opportunities to children and youth living in the Rohingya refugee camps.
Professional trainers work directly with children and youth, using circus arts to teach teamwork, creativity, resilience, and leadership. Together, they prepare a community performance that celebrates their growth and brings people together. Alongside the program, local leaders and instructors are trained to continue the work, ensuring a lasting impact that extends far beyond each visit.

Founded in Denver by UWP alumni, Harmony Jam Sessions uses the power of music and human connection to bring the world together. Each month, hundreds of people from all walks of life gather to learn a popular song and jam out to incredible harmonies. In just one night, strangers become friends, unity overrides division, community is strengthened, and people leave feeling more hopeful and connected. In this polarized world, Harmony Jam Sessions are a reminder that our shared humanity doesn’t need an app, it just needs a beat.

Founded by Up with People alumna Jill Teas, Voices Rock is a community choir program that brings people together through the power of music. Open to singers of all backgrounds and experience levels, Voices Rock creates welcoming spaces where people build friendships, grow in confidence, and experience the joy of singing as one community. With choirs spanning the United States, from North Carolina to Washington, and a growing community of more than 1,000 singers, Voices Rock inspires connection, belonging, and positive change through music.

Each year, people in cities around the world gather on the same day to sing together, creating moments of connection, joy, and belonging. Open to everyone, regardless of age or musical experience, World Singing Day celebrates the simple idea that singing has the power to unite people across cultures and communities.

Projects our community has helped uplift
Every week in Cologne, Germany, 20 young people come together as Sound Collective to sing pop favorites and build community through music. The group provides a safe, creative space where they can grow confidence, express themselves, and feel a sense of belonging. It also opens doors to cultural participation for youth who may otherwise face financial or social barriers. Music becomes a pathway to belonging, resilience, and personal growth.
On March 26, 2026, they presented their first concert, and they kept it free so more young people could participate. If you were in Cologne, we hope you had the chance to see them live!

Voices Rock presents: the Music of Up with People
Up with People Foundation partnered with Voices Rock to bring the music and spirit of Up with People back to the stage.
Over seven weeks, alumni and community members from around the world rehearsed together—both in Denver and online—rediscovering the joy of singing the songs that have connected generations for more than 60 years. The project culminated in two sold-out performances in Denver on June 27 and 28, bringing together hundreds of performers, volunteers, and audience members for a powerful celebration of music, community, and connection.
Support from our community helped make every part of this project possible, including musical arrangements, rehearsal space, sound and lighting, music direction, marketing, and event production. Together, we created an unforgettable experience that reminded everyone of the lasting power of music to bring people together.
