The Up with People International Alumni Association (UWPIAA) supports the participation of alumni relatives in the Up with People program by awarding scholarship money towards the first semester tuition for a legacy student. A legacy student is defined as someone who is a brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister, brother-in-law or sister-in-law, daughter, son, step-brother or step-son, cousin, niece or nephew, granddaughter, grandson, step-granddaughter or step-grandson of an alumnus/a.
