Up with People tries to ship orders quickly, but reserves the right to ship up to 10 business days after order is received. We cannot rush or overnight items. All items will ship via USPS. At this time, we cannot provide tracking numbers.
Up with People cannot guarantee stock numbers on the website, but makes every effort to keep the numbers up-to-date. Sometimes stock must move from from our office inventory to our touring production, and therefore may go out of stock. If you order an item and it is not in stock, we will contact you to see if you’d like another color or size, or we can refund the item back through the original payment method.
Returns & Exchanges
Returns: Up with People accepts returns. Clothing must be unwashed and unworn. Other items must be in new, unused condition. The customer is responsible for shipping costs to return the item to the Denver Office. Once the item is received by our staff, we will issue you a refund to your original payment method. If you plan to make a return, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org in advance, and include a note with your contact info in the package.
Customs and Taxes
If purchasing items from outside of the US, the customer is responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, or any other taxes and fees that may be required by the destination country. Up with People is not responsible for delays in shipping because of customs.
Items that are shipped internationally from our World Headquarters in the United States are taken out of the responsibility of the United States Postal Service and Up with People once they have reached customs within the country of shipment. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to take the necessary actions to receive the package upon arrival at customs if not being delivered directly to the shipping address.
International Shipping Rates
Up with People is aware that the shipping rates for international shipments can be very high though the online merchandise store. The rates are automatically calculated and provided through the United States Postal Service, and we are currently working on finding a solution. Because of this, if you are ordering internationally, we recommend you contact us directly and we will see if we can ship your items through a flat rate international package at a lower price.
